Why Barcelona is my favourite team?

And Why Barcelona FC Can Be Your Second Favourite Team?

The Barcelona Football Club was my most favourite football team, the FCB has carried the emblem of a corporate sponsor as the frontispiece of its shirt. Barça has stood almost completely alone in this every other major European club, in fact, just about every club you care to think of—has carried a major sponsor on its shirt.

Barça has joined the ranks of those who advertise, but not in the way one might expect. In keeping with its tradition of being "more than a club, Barça has unveiled a sponsorship deal with a difference—and it has raised eyebrows and garnered further plaudits for a club which is already well loved and respected the world over.

Barça has come to an agreement with UNICEF, the UN agency founded in 1946 in response to the needs of children all over Europe following the end of World War II. UNICEF has worked in 157 countries worldwide since its formation, helping children who are living in poverty to survive, providing vaccines, and helping to provide access to such essentials as drinking water and food.

In return for carrying a major sponsor’s logo for the first time in 107 years, you might ask how much Barcelona is being paid. The answer is not one cent. In fact, Barcelona has also agreed to pay UNICEF around $2.5 million dollars a year for the privilege. As Barça president Joan Laporta said when addressing the UN in New York recently, “FC Barcelona is not only a football club, but a club with a soul.”The deal is staggering, for a number of reasons. This must surely be the first time that a club has paid someone to have their logo on their shirt. In mid-2005, rumours were swirling about with claim and counter-claim being made that the club might break with tradition and allow a sponsor. The Barça members were known to be opposed. The actual premium a first sponsor might have had to pay would have been significant. It is now a moot point. But for some idea of the sort of money Barça has turned down by making this deal with UNICEF, one need only look at the income of its nearest rivals.

Real Madrid, the hated (Castilian) rivals, has a deal with BenQ from which they reap $35 million a year. Manchester United have in recent months signed a deal with American firm AIG worth $141 million over four years. Chelsea rakes in $25 million a year from Samsung, and Juventus make $37.5 million a year from Tamoil, an oil company owned by Libya, but based in the Netherlands.

The Barcelona deal is stunning. How often is this much advertising revenue refused, let alone given away? On top of this, and the financial contribution that will be made to UNICEF, Barça has agreed to “provide support (for) UNICEF activities through its players, promoters and members”.

As President Laporta said at the UN assembly, “Barça and UNICEF can go a long way to improving life for many children around the world." Could this be the beginning of a new trend for sporting clubs around the world? Time will tell. The cynical among us might simply say that this is the football club executive softening up the all-powerful Barça membership (Barça is owned by its members) for a time when a commercial sponsor might be brought on board.

On the other hand, Barça, like most major sporting clubs, is not short of money these days, with massive revenues coming from TV deals, shirt sales, European and domestic competitions, off-season tours, and of course the 100,000 or so people who go to the Nou Camp every second week to watch the Blaugrana in action.

The UNICEF deal shows FC Barcelona for what it is—a forward thinking club, with a long, proud history, and a strong commitment to social justice, and making a difference to all the children of this global community

New Moon (Cinta Baru)

Sinopsis

Komen Yang Beretika ;)

“Aku Menulis Bukan Kerna Nama”

3.  Sering tukar ganti status
Senang cerita saja nak up page sendiri la... MayB dah tiada idea nak mengarang status.

4.     “Memposting” Jawapan Kuiz

5.     Ajak kawan join games
Bukan semua orang suka games. Ingat!

6.     Buat group yg bkn2

Aduyainyerponggg….. hahaha (31.10.12)

The weekend stories…

some of them are freaky/funny, some of them are happy, some of them are sad!

Just Another Day in GOLOK..

So, this is my 2nd trip to Kelantan, this time i will attend a wedding of my friend cousin. "Golok" is just a bonus for a man who born in Malaysia but until now he did not reach a famous Golok River! and marked his steps on the Thai soil almost in no time. It was such an easy business doing all the stamping of passport at the Thai immigration office in Golok but i got a 'Lesen Besar' because i got Cik Din. His grandfather lives at the other side of Sg Golok, what? Of corse Thai'Land maa...

But that was about it. I cross the Sg Golok with a boat and paid RM1 to the boatman, i walked out onto the soil of Thailand and I couldn’t believe how different everything was despite the fact that it was only separated from the Malaysian soil by a river. There were taxi motorbikes offering to take me to the town center.
Of course I’d walk. I don’t want to miss on things and the truth is Cik Din house is just a meter from the river...hehe

Here, most of them speak Kelantanese Malay and the women wear shawl and all, you can’t really tell a Thai from a Malay in Golok. The people in thi village being  highly populated by Muslim Thais.
I was told by cik din (my tourist guide) that there are differences in their slangs although outsiders like me wouldn’t really know.

SO, that was how I spent my hours in Golok. It might not be the best time to be there coz we rushing to go the other place but I am glad that all the questions about Golok had finally been wiped off my mind. We continued our journey to Kota Bharu after that.

Future vs You

We don't know what will come or happen in future, our jobs, our house, our family, our race and everything that stand in our mind right now. We must always learn from our past and think about our future. That's what my mums always said...hehe... did you? Sometime i don't "feel" or "hear" my future, maybe because of my works and of corse my personal heart... huiiyooo... like 'jiwang-jiwang club tonight'...

In the city like Kuala Lumpur or state like Selangor, we can have a bright future in everything here as long as you know how and make it fast before anybody else. but remember one thing!Just don't get in the trap that we cannot see in KL! everything here is 'GOOD" for our eye, our ear, our mouth but back there we don't know the true is...

I start to learn about KL when i studied at Kuchai Lama (ILPKL) in 2002, that time i live at usj6 with my sister before she get married. here i got so many friend, different skin, different ideology,  even worst, some off them is 'maling', gangster and blablabla... Alhamdulillah, just friend ok... did not means i got into trouble with them. Back there i always think about their future, how they will end up with their job, family or anything else. But who know, who can change o create the future right...? We cannot just see the bad thing about them... (Continued)

Did you know the meaning of future.?

Lonely Day (Lyric) - System of Down

Such a lonely day
And it's mine
The most loneliest day of my life

Such a lonely day
Should be banned
It's a day that I can't stand

The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life

Such a lonely day
Shouldn't exist
It's a day that I'll never miss
Such a lonely day
And it's mine
The most loneliest day of my life

And if you go, I wanna go with you
And if you die, I wanna die with you

Take your hand and walk away

The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life
Life

Such a lonely day
And it's mine
It's a day that I'm glad I survived

Paper money collecting as my new hobby

Assalamualaikum,

Starting last year, i start to collect paper money from Malaysia and outside. Before this i dont think this is a good o can be a great hobby for me because i also have some paper money in my wallet from 80' that i got from my friend. i don't exactly know the date when i start to luv this hobby. No wonder, this is a very challenging hobby and cost me a lot of money and time to find such as a note of paper. Just try it.!

Banknote collecting, or Notaphily, is a slowly growing area of numismatics. Although generally not as widespread as coin and stamp collecting, the hobby is slowly expanding. Prior to the 1990s, currency collecting was a relatively small adjunct to coin collecting, but the practice of currency auctions, combined with larger public awareness of paper money have caused a little interest and values of rare banknotes.
Sanjay Relan, of Hong Kong is holding the Guinness world record since 2007 for collecting 221 banknotes representing 221 different countries. He also held the Guinness world record in 2007 for a short period for collecting 235 coins representing 235 different countries.

For years, the mode of collecting banknotes was through a handful of mail order dealers who issued price lists and catalogs. In the early 1990s, it became more common for rare notes to be sold at various coin and currency shows via auction. The illustrated catalogs and "event nature" of the auction practice seemed to fuel a sharp rise in overall awareness of paper money in the numismatic community. Entire advanced collections are often sold at one time, and to this day single auctions can generate millions in gross sales. Today, eBayhas surpassed auctions in terms of highest volume of sales of banknotes although the risk of counterfeit is extremely high. However, rare banknotes still sell for much less than comparable rare coins. This disparity is diminishing as paper money prices continue to rise. Many rare and historical banknotes have sold for more than a million dollars.
There are many different organizations and societies around the world for the hobby, including the International Bank Note Society (IBNS) which currently assert to have around 2,000 members in 90 countries.

The Great Silver Arowana

The Silver Arowana is of the genus “Osteoglossum bicirrhosum,” were recognized as a new fish species in 1829 in France, by zoologist Georges Cuvier. They are classified as Bony-Tongued Fish which are fish that go back to somewhat pre-historic times. In fact, in Greek, Osteoglossum is bone-tongued and bicirrhosum is "two barbels.”

Silver Arowana are found naturally in white and black water floodplains of South America in the freshwaters of the Amazon River Basin and River, maybe in the Rupununi and Oyapock Rivers, and in some still waters of Guyana as well. There is indication that they don’t go through rapids, as they haven’t promulgated further upstream. Most of the Silver Arowana are found in the swamp and flooded areas in the shallower water.

Silver Arowana are primitive, prehistoric fish. They actually have teeth on their tongue that comprise the bite they have for their food. Other relatives of Arowana in general include the Butterfly fish and Elephant fish.

Silver Arowana are among the cheapest Arowana available, and the least restricted to import/export. They come small, but look out, they grow rapidly. It is wise to get them at 4-8 inches/ 10-20cm when they are hardier and easier to handle. This will give you a better chance of success keeping them.

The natural environment of the Silver Arowana is from about 75 to 82 degrees F (24-28 C) warm in the water. In the wild, Silver Arowana may reach upwards of 4 feet /120 cm in length, and a little over ten pounds in weight.

They require good water condition to flourish. You must keep Ammonia and Nitrites close to zero. Silver Arowana create a lot of waste, so the filtration system needs to be strong and efficient. Changing at least 25% of the water per week is advisable. Some even recommend as much as 50-75%. The pH of the water (soft and acidic) is best kept between 6.0 and 6.9. Water hardness level for an ideal environment is about 1-8dH.

Their body are covered in very big, strong, and bony scales, and at the lower jaw, 2 barbels. Silver Arowana have a large, bony tongue. The dorsal and anal fins are nearly connected to the caudal fin. Adult Silver Arowana is silvery usually whereas the juveniles often have a yellow-orange bar on the side. They have longer fins than the other Arowana species from Australia, Asia, and Africa.

The growth rate in the Silver Arowana is about two inches (5cm) a month during their first year.

Silver Arowana requires a larger aquarium tank that needs to be well covered to prevent the fish from jumping out if the aquarium to their deaths. The size required depends on the size of your Arowana but should as a rule be at least twice and preferable more than 3 times the length of the fish. Decorated the aquarium so that a lot of open space is created to allow your Silver Arowana fish space where they can swim freely. Silver Arowana like their space to move about in (above). You will however probably want to give them a couple of places where they can hide. While some tank mates may be good for dinner, you might try some other large fish that are hardy and slightly aggressive fish such as Catfish to keep with your Arowana.

Silver Arowana fish demands a varied diet. They are usually fed guppies in the stores where they are sold and whatever it takes upon acclimation to get them to eat other things is wise and necessary to get them to do so. Getting them to eat non-live food can be a good thing too, as it expands your options for variety. They will usually eat things such as frozen raw shrimp, squid, scallops, and fish fillets. They will also accept a number of live foods such as, smaller fish, plankton, crickets, bloodworms, other insects, and mosquito larvae. If trained, they will eat nearly anything they can get their hands on. Goldfish might be suggested as a snack, however they should not make up a too large part of your Silver Arowana’s diet. Another aspect, if you dare, is to attempt to get them to fetch food from your hand which can result in some painful bites until the Arowana learns it.

One condition that is often seen in Silver Arowana is called “Drop Eye”, where an eye appears to look downward. It seems this may be the result of over breeding at the breeders though it might also come from fatty tissues behind the eye. Less fat in their diet may help to minimizing or preventing this.

Make sure the top of your tank is well secured. Silver Arowana are Jumpers, and may wind up dead on the floor otherwise.

They can be shy, and easily spooked. For example, when turning on the lights, it is wise to turn on the room lights first. Then after a few minutes, turn on the tank lights. Otherwise, your Silver Arowana might get spooked and injure itself. It is good if you can get some sunlight to them in the day as well, but not constant or you might wind up with an algae problem.

It is suggested for filtration to use adequate Mechanical, Chemical, and Biological filtration to cover the amount of water in the tank. Multiple units might not hurt considering the volume of water you need for your Silver Arowana, and it does provide backup in case one system fails.

On a closing note, you should also remember, Silver Arowana’s are not for the poor, or the inexperienced aquarist. However, they are very interesting fish to watch grow, and live. They will undoubtedly give you many hours of enjoyable scenery, and experiences. If you choose to get a Silver Arowana, it is wise to do a lot of research to become even more experienced with these great living examples of the Amazon Basin.

Work Smarter, Not Harder

Salam petang semua,

Celoteh pasal keje,
Umur dah nak menjangkau 30an, MESTI KERJA KUAT...!!!
(bukan mengulor yer sedara..!)

Rancangan.
Just like every organization needs a business plan, an efficient worker needs a work plan - a well-thought-out scheme to help guide and direct work activities. Schedule your tasks throughout the days, weeks, and months, senang cerita sepenuh masa lah.

Tujuan.
As a part of your work plan, you should set concrete and measurable goals. Goals should specify which tasks are to be completed and a time frame for completing them. Rather than setting firm deadlines, which can lead to pressure and stress, allow a period of time to reach goals (For example, while an ideal date for finishing a report might be August 1st, you might set August 5th as a "realistic" completion date, and August 10th as your "dropdead" deadline.). Also, take time to reward yourself for goal attainment.

Organize Your Work Day.Develop a consistent daily work schedule - and stick to it! If a typical workday consists of some writing tasks (emails, reports), one-on-one meetings, and processing data/recordkeeping, set aside specific times each day to accomplish each category of tasks. The regularity of a consistent schedule ensures that each category of work gets completed, and makes it less likely that tasks will be overlooked.

Delegate Effectively.

Learn which tasks can be delegated and which need personal attention. The worker who tries to do everything himself or herself not only is overloaded and overstressed, but is doing a disservice to subordinates, by not allowing them to be challenged and grow by taking on important duties.

Don't Make Work Harder Than It Actually Is.

Much time pressure is self-induced. We set unrealistically high goals or standards for ourselves and feel like we should be doing more. Remember that tasks get completed in a step-by-step fashion. Focusing on each step, rather than on the entire project, may cut down on feelings that we are "overwhelmed."
